PMSI Compliance Package
1. File the UCC-1 Financing Statement: Our team of experts will prepare/review your UCC-1 financing statement in accordance with state requirements, file it at the appropriate filing office, and provide you with the filing evidence for your records after it is filed.
2. Conduct a UCC Search: Once evidence of filing is received and the through date of the state's UCC records is after your filing date, we will conduct a UCC search to identify any prior secured parties. We will provide you with a search report listing the relevant details from each filing, as well as copies of all UCC filings found.
3. Send PMSI Notification Letters: We will prepare the PMSI notification letters on your behalf, send them to each secured party of record using mail with delivery confirmation, and provide you with a report containing the tracking information from the US Postal service proving your notification letters were received.
4. Final Report: Once this process is complete, we will package all of the results into a single report so you have a complete record of each step in the process.At that point, you can confidently deliver the collateral or consigned goods to the debtor.

We always conduct our UCC searches using the official state filing office’s system and database! Article 9 of the UCC prohibits the use of private UCC systems/databases when searching, you can read more about the risks here.

Our report includes the evidence that the PMSI notification letter was received by the prior secured party, which is required by statute to protect your PMSI interests.

Cost: $65* plus $15 per notification letter. Notification letter price includes mailing costs with confirmation of receipt.
*Does not include correspondent fees or statutory fees. However, we will include all such projected costs in our initial estimate to you.
